My name is Tony Perez, owner of LimbGrabber's.  I’ve been a board certified Arborist for over 10 years, and a certified tree safety professional for 8 years.  Overall, I’ve been in this industry for over 15 years.

I’m a fifth generation Chicago resident, born and raised on 51st and Paulina.  Having had an underprivileged upbringing, I became a ward of the state at 11yo.  I was a resident of Mercy Boys Home, and the Jane Adams Hull house.  As I worked on my life, I graduated high school, attended college, and on my 19th birthday, I became a United States Marine.  In the Marine Corps, I had a son, Kassius Perez, who is now 15yo.  I’ve been a single parent since he was 3yo, and have striven to give him a great life.

Trees and I met in 2002, where I started doing grunt labor and worked my way up.  Taking the path to become a trainer, I’ve worked for corporations, small businesses, cooperative, and private contractors.  I began LimbGrabber's because I wanted to give back to my community.
